Many people fail to achieve their potential by consistently falling into the same traps of procrastination, fear of failure, performance anxiety, boredom and lack of confidence and motivation. This ultimately leads to self-blame, dissatisfaction and further loss of confidence.

When something is important to you, it is normal to experience any or all of the above. Humans are designed to experience negative emotions because they keep us safe. If humans had never felt fear how would we know to escape from wild animals? However, whilst fear is useful in the right circumstances, it can also prevent us from doing the things that will lead us to live to fulfilled, joyful and successful lives.

Learn how to succeed and achieve in spite of challenging feelings. The stage performer who feels the fear and does it anyway will soon learn to equate nerves and anxiety with excitement. However, the stage performer who allows their anxiety to take over may stop performing altogether.
